Carambar muffins for one of Mom's classes : non vegan
Carambars have always been one of my favorite candies.
Therefore, why not mixing them to a muffin dough?
Ingredients:
- 20 Carambars, or any toffee
- 20 cl milk
- 120g butter
- 2 eggs
- 100g sugar
- 250g flour
- 1/2 packet ( 1 1/2 tsp) baking powder
-1/2 tsp baking soda
- A pinch of salt

--> Preheat the oven tp 180° C ( 350 °F)
--> Cut the Carambars into chunks
--> In a pan heat the milk, butter and half of Carambars, until melted
--> Allow to cool
--> Beat the eggs + sugar then add the cooled down milk mixture
--> Whisk in the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
--> Add the Carambar chunks and mix well.
--> Spoon into muffins cases
--> Bake for 20 minutes
Transfer on a cooling wire rack
